That Pink Door in Palm Springs made my weekend. I know it sounds silly, but I love the color pink and seeing it on the door of this retro style home gave me so much inspiration. I’m sure my husband will argue that this will never be the color of our entry way, but a girl can only dream right?
Every time I head out to visit my parents in Palm Springs, I look for unique and fun things to do. This weekend, I decided to venture through the old celebrity / retro neighborhoods for inspiration. I absolutely love the Mid-Century modern architecture (1950s/1960s era) that you still see today.
While driving through the area, I stumbled upon that famous pink door that I always see on Pinterest. It’s one of the most photographed residential homes in the city and it even has it’s own hashtag #thatpinkdoor. I never thought I’d be so excited for a door, but there I was in 110 degree heat, excited to snap a shot in front of it! I couldn’t resist.
Trevor assisted with taking about 20 photos and then ran straight for the car with air conditioning. I don’t blame him. This is the day in the life a new blogger husband lol.
This wasn’t the only unique door I found in Palm Springs – in fact, painted doors are a trademark of Palm Springs. I learned that this Pink Door Home is owned by the interior designer Moises Esquenazi. To read more about this stunning home, click here

Any advice on how I can convince my husband to paint our future home door pink? lol. What are your favorite retro Palm Springs hang out spots?
Thanks so much for reading! XO,
